Second Life Journey
- My character
Using the game money, i got to dress up my character. It took some time for me to pick the clothings since there were so many things up on the online store. It was fascinating that people(who are irrelevant to the company) could actually design and upload them on the store and make profit out of it. However, after buying the apparels, there was a minor problem in the wearing process. Due to the customization that I made on my character in advance, the body suit that I bought made glitches when I wore them. I had to adjust my character settings to hide the errors.

- Insilico East
The first destination of the journey was 'Insilico East'. It was a place surrounded with future technology structures. Even though the space was virtual, the place was very delicately designed. It reminded me some of the sci-fi movies like 'READY PLAYER ONE'.

- Chouchou
The second destination was 'Chouchou'. It was really different from 'Insilico East' in that it had no buildings at all. Instead, there were trees and ladders and random opjects. Some of them were linked to the website of 'Chouchou', which is a Japanese music group. When I went there again to take a screen capture of the place, the atmosphere had been changed. It was all white and dazzling in class, but it became foggy and dark. It was interesting, and I am wondering if it is because of the time I visited.

- Immersivia
This place was interesting because the entrance was inside an abandoned train station. When I clicked one of the pictures, I teleported into the gallery. There were so many interesting things inside the gallery, and it was also amazing that one could actually make a virtual gallery inside a game. The fact that you could move your designed projects into the game was also very interesting.

- Summer show
Lastly, this destination was the 'Summer show' gallery of professor Kwon. At first, it was hard to find the entrance, so I had to wander around for a bit. When I clicked a certain object outside the gallery, I could go in. At this gallery, the classmates had a chance to practice building our own objects. It was interesting that we could actually build sophisticated structures using second life.
